This is something I’m passionate about. As Mayor, I’d shout about the excellent products, services and talented people of Sussex – at both a national and international level. I want to launch an annual trade show to showcase Sussex products, which we’d promote across Europe and beyond. In addition, I’d like to work with our educators to ensure we have the best-trained workforce anywhere in the UK, because companies will only invest and create quality jobs if they can employ the right people in the right place. I’d also let the world know about the huge benefits of Sussex – our excellent transport links, our proximity to London, and, above all, the exceptional work-life balance to be enjoyed by relocating to, or starting an enterprise, in Sussex
